about us

The East District serves 59 churches and over 100 clergy in the Central Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. We strive to resource the local church and pastors as together we work to make disciples for the transformation of the world. We also serve as a liaison between the local church and the Central Texas Conference.

Katherine Hunter is the District Administrator for the East & North Districts of the Central Texas Conference UMC. Katherine served as the conference’s Mission Coordinator since 2018. Prior to taking on the Mission Coordinator role, Katherine served for 15 years as Grapevine First UMC’s executive assistant to the pastors. According to Rev.
