The East District serves 59 churches and over 100 clergy in the Central Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. We strive to resource the local church and pastors as together we work to make disciples for the transformation of the world. We also serve as a liaison between the local church and the Central Texas Conference.
Dr. Randy Wild is serving as our Interim East District Superintendent effective January 1, 2019. Dr. Wild retired in July but has served local churches across the Central Texas Annual Conference, as the first Superintendent in the East District, and as Conference Secretary & Executive Director of the Center for Mission Support.
